It is not a secret that I have a great love of Washi tape. I love using it all over my planner, BUT — sometimes I wish there was a little something with it to “fancy it up” — or kind of categorize the activity that I’m going to.
Enter, Icon stickers.
One Sunday I was just filling in my planner with various activities, wishing I had icons for all of the specific ones.
And Whamo — it hit me — I could totally just make my own! Yes, it does take a while to download them and upload them to the Silhouette cutting software — but they were easy to trace and cut after that (and of course I wanted a bazillion different colors/kinds).
Be sure to see my post all about how to make your own stickers.
This post is sponsored by Online Labels — but the ideas and my genuine love of their sticker paper {swoon} are 100% mine.
And I have to say –that Icons with Online Labels is a match made in heaven. They make them look so professional and fancy. 100% storebought! PLUS, just the ones I need. SO perfect!
So, I went into IconCraft and picked out some of my most-used icons. Mainly lunch, travel, dental (I have some medical ones here, so I didn’t need those). I was just thinking I wish I had printed some payday ones — so be on the lookout for those. 😉
I also really wanted to experiment with a few different types of sticker paper:
- The matte sticker paper is amazing! SO much better than the cheap sticker paper on Amazon. I am actually amazed at how much more vibrant the colors and how much nicer the stickers look.
- I also tried it on the brown kraft sticker paper. I just thought it would be fun to see what they look like. It’s a very different look, but fun to stand out from all the white on my planner.
- And then, I tried glossy sticker paper. And I just lost all control. They look better than anything I’d buy in the store — they’re personalized to JUST what I need AND they were super easy to punch and put in my planner! OH MAN, do I love the glossy ones — if you love to print stickers, you have GOT to try these! If you have a problem with the registration marks — check out this post from Melissa with Silhouette School (love her stuff — you can save 10% with code HILARYERICKSON)
- Another thought is to use the removable stickers. Just in case you need to change an event — these are a favorite of mine! They print just as pretty as the regular matte sticker paper.
**All of those papers I cut on a 2 (if I want to cut all the way through I go to a 3 or 4) using my silhouette.
And, because the people at Online Labels were so generous in sponsoring this post — I’m giving you ICON GALORE label sheet entirely free.
Just pop your info in this spot — and download them to use in your own planner!
