This daily tasks for kids printable will help your kids get stuff done!
THIS JUST IN: Looking to organize your family — check out Family Routines. It will get your whole family on the same page. Moms love it, and I guarantee you’ll love it too!
Note: Somehow — someone pinned this one meaning to pin my FEVER post… if you’re looking for that, it’s right here.
We started school today. SWEET. SWEET. FREEDOM. But there’s something lurking. You know what it is. It caught me by surprise those first couple of years.
3 pm.
3 pm is lurking. I’m even lucky enough to have my kids come home on the bus, but when that door shuts you have no idea who’s coming in the door. Is it Glinda the Good, or the Wicked Witch of the West?
And you only know at 3:01 — possibly 3:05 if they provide you with a few moments of silence. Although, each moment of silence is a moment closer to the wicked witch (in my case studies).
And really, all of that would be FINE except the school seems to have some notion that things should get done and that school, in fact, will be in session again TOMORROW! Hence, they’ll need to get to bed on time too!
THE HORROR.
That’s why I made a children’s daily task checklist for my 1st grader today. She will be starting allowance this year. You can read more about our allowance system here, but since she is only 6, it will be modified a bit, and her money will only be for spending.
Don’t forget that Family Routines has tons of info on Allowance (coming soon), chores and more. Plus, save 10% with code PC10!
Daily Tasks for Kids
So, without further adieu, just sign up to get the checklist — it will be emailed right to you! I hope you and I are sittin’ around eating salty snacks while our kids do their jobs like robots. {cheers!} You can find my specific after school checklist here. It’s already on our fridge. 🙂
And while I know of your kids aren’t starting for DAYS, here’s to a new school year! May it bring lots of learning, and lots of silence in my brain!
BTW I have a whole post about what to do when you’re just mad at your kids — which can happen when you’re hoping for work from them!
