April’s Crock-Pot Yumma
My friend April gave me this recipe just the other day. After the ward party I’m ready for a day of napping, so I though it called for a day of crock pot.
Take some potatoes, I peeled mine, you don’t have to (I also quartered them) — I think those little red potatoes would be great in this. Throw them in your crock pot.
Take some carrots (I did baby ones, but you could cut-up a regular one), throw them in.
Get some boneless/skinless chicken, throw that on top (I cut my chicken into 4’s, and I would recommend defrosting them before you cook it, just to cut-down on the time).
Get some canned alfredo sauce, pour it on. Put it on high or low, depending on your time frame. Mine was cooking for 4.5 hours and I did it on high for 1 hour, and then low on the rest. Vegetables weren’t mush. I was happy with how it turned-out. Served it with rolls (left-over from said ward party).
End of story.
Yummy, even for those out there (coughcoughmomcough) who don’t like the canned alfredo sauce it’s yummy!
