Nicest Hotels Near Disneyland:
First off, I want to thank the hotel that is sponsoring my stay. I am SO excited to check out the JW Marriot. It’s close and it looks SO nice .
JW Marriott Hotel Anaheim Resort (Deluxe Property)
The brand-new AAA Four Diamond JW Marriott Anaheim Resort offers a luxury escape just steps from the Disneyland Resort and GardenWalk. With multiple restaurants, a rooftop bar and an outdoor swimming pool with cabanas, this is one of the luxury hotels and is perfect for older families or couples visiting Anaheim.

Hilary’s Thoughts:
I REALLY liked this hotel. It is SUPER quiet, it has a lot of lighting options (the room kept a low vibe which I appreciated). There isn’t a ton of storage (but does have a great closet to hang stuff up). I did walk once (about a 20-minute walk) but the rest of the time I took an Uber/Lyft — which was 7-8 bucks/ride. I felt like walking through the empty garden walk in the evenings was somewhat unsafe….
This hotel is best for couples, or people with older kids. It’s so nice and quiet, I’d feel weird with loud kids there. 🙂
However, with that 4th night free, if you’re looking for a LUXURY resort this is 100% the one for you!
The Westin Anaheim Resort (Deluxe Property)
Located 0.5 miles away from the Disneyland Resort, the Westin Anaheim Resort is the perfect hotel for any family vacation! Plus, guests can enjoy amenities like a rooftop fireworks view, multiple restaurants, a large pool, fitness centre, and more.

Hilary’s Thoughts:
This is a beautiful high end hotel. However, the pricing, and the distance from the park makes this a hard sell for me. If the pricing is right for you, know that you can’t go wrong with this hotel (but you’ll want to either take the ART shuttle or an Uber to the parks).
Element by Westin Anaheim Resort (Deluxe Property)
Less than a mile away from the Disneyland Resort, the Element by Westin Anaheim Resort is the perfect property for a family Disneyland vacation. This brand-new hotel offers amenities like free daily breakfast, free WiFi, a 24-hour fitness center and more!
When you book with Get Away Today you get:
- 4th Night Free
- Reduced Parking Fee ($22 per night savings)

Hilary’s Thoughts:
I was SUPER impressed by this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and the breakfast just seriously can’t be beat by any other of the off-property hotels that I’ve seen (plus they have lucky charms, a favorite of mine — and shows they cater to families). With a 4th night free plus free parking this one is a no-brainer. I had several friends stay here and really enjoy it. They also walked to the parks a few times and said the walk wasn’t bad.
SunCoast Park Hotel Anaheim (Moderate Property)
At the SunCoast Park Hotel Anaheim, guests can enjoy spacious guest rooms complete with a microwave and mini-fridge, an infinity pool and firework views. Plus, guests will be able to enjoy exploring nearby restaurants and shops across the street at Anaheim GardenWalk.
When you book with Get Away Today:
- Free Parking ($24 per night savings)
- Resort Fee Waived ($17 per night savings)
- Reduced Rates
- Free Breakfast (when breakfast returns, which doesn’t seem like in the near future)
Hilary’s Thoughts:
I think this is a fun boutique hotel for your family to enjoy. Rooms are really spacious, many of them have a huge amount of room for a crib or a roll away. I wasn’t impressed that breakfast is still not up, but I understand there are a lot of constraints opening up post-covid. Good price, it’s really close to the element — it’s walkable (but I’d probably Uber home).
Cambria Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort (Moderate Property)
The Cambria Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort is the perfect hotel for the ultimate Southern California vacation. Guests can enjoy spacious rooms that include double showers, complimentary WiFi and free breakfast each morning. If guests are looking to cool down, they can experience a 30,000 sq ft. waterpark that features waterslides, pop-jets and splash pads along with an oversized hot tub. Plus, they can enjoy on-site restaurants like The Habit, Jersey Mike’s, YogurtLand, Starbucks, and more.

Hilary’s Thoughts:
I really like this hotel. However, somehow they have gotten some weird clientele post-covid. Keep in mind that standard rooms (the majority of the hotel) does NOT get access to the water park with their room unless they book with Get Away Today. That seemed REALLY weird to me (but definitely a reason to book with Get Away Today). 🙂
That being said, when we were in the pool area the guests all seemed really nice and lovely. I think they are slowly sifting out people who stayed there during Covid (they had very low rates at the time).
They have a HUGE breakfast room, with lots of options. Plus that water park, this is really a great stay. Just some things to keep in mind.
Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance (Deluxe Property)
The Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance ensures the ultimate family-friendly vacation experience. Just a short walk away from the Happiest Place on Earth, the Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance offers a Surfside Waterpark complete with huge waterslides, drench bucket, swimming pools and more right on property. Guests can enjoy the spacious rooms with bunk beds, free Wi-Fi and Netflix.
When you book with Get Away Today you get:
- Free WiFi
- Reduced Rates
- On-site Waterpark
Hilary’s Thoughts:
You’ll see a lot of bloggers say this is their favorite hotel. And maybe it is! I mean, it has a lot of great perks — the water park, the bunk beds, but I found the rooms to be tight when we stayed there. The price is HIGH — and I was annoyed that the water park wasn’t open later when we got back from Disney.
Keep in mind the Cambria’s rooms are larger and about $200 less/night but it’s not as close. It’s always a balance, right?
Fairfield Inn Anaheim Resort (Moderate Property)
Located across the street from the Disneyland Resort, guests can enjoy all the comfort and convenience the Fairfield by Marriott Anaheim Resort has to offer. Each room has signature Marriott “sleep well” beds and a pull-out chair or sofa. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor Mickey-shaped pool while taking a break from their Disney day.
When you book with Get Away Today you get:
- Free Parking ($18 per night savings)
- Complimentary WiFi
- Reduced Rates
Hilary’s Thoughts:
I like this hotel. Their pizza hut isn’t open right now, and I think the rooms are fairly basic (but have a pull-out bed from a chair, making it an option for families of 5). It’s pretty close. We, again, found the room to be quite tight for the price. If staying within walking distance of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure park is important to you, I’d pick which room of the close proximity ones is the cheapest for you. It would definitely be worth a few extra bucks to stay even closer. 🙂
Anaheim Marriott Hotel (Deluxe Property)
Just 2 blocks from the Disneyland Resort and within a short walking distance of multiple popular restaurants, the Anaheim Marriott Hotel promises a stay to exceed any family’s expectations. The Anaheim Marriott Hotel has 1,030 newly redesigned guest rooms and multiple dining options that are offered to suit the entire family. Most rooms featuring balconies and an outdoor dining area overlooking the indoor/outdoor pool.
When you book with Get Away Today you get:
- 3rd Night Free
- Free Parking ($25 per night savings)
- Kids Eat Free ($10 value per day)
Hilary’s Thoughts:
This is a lovely hotel. It’s clearly geared more towards people staying for the conventions at the Anaheim Convention Center and also doing Disney. One thing I REALLY liked for this hotel is the guaranteed adjoining rooms. Also, 70% of the hotel offers adjoining room.
If you want a REALLY nice stay, but need to sleep more than 2 beds, I think this is a good option — especially with the 3rd night free! That makes this a pretty great deal.
Hotel Lulu Anaheim Resort (Moderate Property)
Just a seven minute walk from the main gate at the Disneyland Resort, Hotel Lulu Anaheim Resort guests will be able to enjoy spacious rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, pick-up dining service from Lulu’s Kitchen and outdoor pool with resort-style seating.
When you book with Get Away Today you get:
- Reduced Parking ($5 per night savings)
- Complimentary WiFi
- Reduced Rates
Hilary’s Thoughts:
This is a pretty standard hotel. The hotel rooms look standard. However, the theming is really great. I love the vibe of the hotel and they do offer a free mocktail/cocktail at checkin. It’s not the closest hotel but the short walk isn’t bad.

Desert Palms Hotel & Suites (Moderate Property)

Hilary’s Thoughts:
I have a bit of a bias against this hotel. We stayed her a few years ago and it was SO LOUD. Like, we heard all the words from all the people in around us, and I knew that they heard all the words from my kids — which isn’t a great way to stay when you’re at Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks.
This one is close, it has a LOT of great room configurations and does offer a good free breakfast. For large families, it could be a great option for you. Just bring a white noise machine. 🙂
If you’re looking for a nice hotel close to Disneyland, maybe one of these will fit the bill.
