Problems with being disorganized
One of my biggest tips that life needs to change is that I’m constantly looking for things and unable to find them. This is one of my main pain points of being disorganized. It seems like every time I need something, it’s in the absolute last place I would look for it. This can be incredibly frustrating, and it wastes a lot of time.
Being constantly surrounded by clutter can also be very overwhelming. It can make your home feel smaller and less inviting, and it can be difficult to relax when your environment is so chaotic.
I also just felt like I couldn’t sit down and watch some Netflix without feeling overwhelmed by what is around me, and stressing out.
And the biggest one, and I hear this EVERY day is “I just don’t know where to start”. Of course, that’s a symptom of overwhelm, and the real honest truth.
Are you ready for this?…
It honestly doesn’t matter one bit WHERE you start. Sure, you can start somewhere easy for a quick win, or someplace that’s just for you so no one can mess it up, or some place that’s causing big disruptions in your life to have a BIG win with some simple organizing.
But just starting is the key. It’s always the key.
How you will feel when you’re more organized
You will feel so much better when you’re more organized! You’ll have more time for the things you love, your home will feel more inviting, and you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your life. Imagine being able to find things when you need them, and not feeling constantly overwhelmed by your stuff. That’s what we’re here to help you achieve!
What will the free home organization class do for you?
It’s going to provide you simple steps that you can take to organize any room.
It’s easy to think that every room has nuances that make it so different, but in reality it does not. These steps can be applied to any organizing project.
What does the class include?
The class is hosted in my online classroom where I give you a video for each word (and text if you’re more of a reader) to talk about why each work is important and how you can apply it to your space today.
I give real-life examples about how I use these words in my own life and space, and how you can apply them to your life as well.
I also encourage you to GET GOING (the most important part) and send helpful follow up emails to remind you of the words and how to make that necessary change in your life.
What will the 5 Word Challenge NOT Do For You?
Sadly, it is not an organizer that will somehow come into your home and organize it in the snap of their fingers. That is the stuff dreams are made of.
That being said, even with an organizer it’s always going to be up to you to get that stuff done. To declutter it, figure out what you need and what you don’t need. And also figure out what your house can comfortably hold or not hold. All of that is up to you.
An organizer, honestly, just makes it a bit prettier.
I know we all want to live the lie that there are really easy ways to do things, but the reality is that you just need to make some hard choices and get going.
And the BEST reality is that once you DO get going, it will motivate you to KEEP going. It truly IS something you can do — just one small task at a time can really make a difference in your life.
I can’t wait to see it!
Ok, now it’s your turn. What is your favorite spot to organize? Which one has made YOUR life better!
