Games for Couples make a great Christmas Gift

We LOVE getting games, and they can also be pretty inexpensive!

Here are a few of our favorites:

• We love almost every game Looney Labs makes.  Their Pyramid Arcade is AMAZING.  So many games in one and so much good logic and strategy.  Stuff I don’t see as much in other games!
• We love Loony’s Loonacy as well!  That one is quick and VERY family-friendly (great for kids of all ages).
• Banannagrams is fun for people of all verbal skill.  I hate Scrabble, but I can tolerate this game, as I don’t have to make super long words to have fun playing it.
• Ticket to Ride is a fun one — this one needs a larger group (can’t be played just as a couple) — we also love Catan.
• Catch Phrase is a fun one — again, needs to be done in a larger group.
• If you’re looking for  games for just two — we LOVE card games, like Phase 10
• Or, if you want something a bit steamier…  there’s something like this.

Restaurant gift card for couples

If they have a favorite restaurant you know of, get a gift card there.  A lot of restaurants (if you’re out of town) will let you call in an order and send it for you).  OR, if you have one YOU really like, get them that so they can try new things!

You can also use some place like the Gift Card Mall to find a place and let them ship it (I love gifts like that)!

Bosch Mixer for families

This one is sort of “out there” — but I love my Bosch and it has made my family life SO much better (easier to make food) I just thought I’d throw it out there for couples & families who like to bake.  Want to see my review of the Bosch vs the Kitchenaid?

Netflix/Hulu for Couples

Buying them something they can enjoy all year is an awesome gift.  Even if they were planning to purchase it already, it’s like giving them some extra cash in their pocket.

You could also include a list of shows you love, to get them started!

This gift is obviously awesome for less-tech-savvy couples.  You could also offer to help them set it up on their TV.

Amazon Prime for Couples

Oh, my. GOODNESS, what an AMAZING gift this would be!  To get a whole year of free shipping to one of the favorite stores in the world.  The gift of not going outside when it is 123 degrees (thank you Arizona) is a huge gift.

Plus, they get all the movies and music.  An awesome gift!

Movie Tickets for Couples

I often think we should go to a movie, but then think how expensive it would be.  Having tickets is a gift of doing something you enjoy, without the guilt of thinking you should spend the money elsewhere. 🙂

You could even do a free month of that AMC movie program (or something similar) so they could go frequently for a month and enjoy it!

Tickets to a concert for Couples

If they have a band, or even a symphony they love, you can get them tickets to the concert.  Often, symphonies will have it where you can gift tickets, and then the person can pick the night/performance of their choosing.  That seems pretty cool!

A Class for Couples

With the growth of online learning, tons of different classes are popping up.

I’ve taken a few helpful marriage classes, and of course, I host my own Online Prenatal Class for Couples that has proved to be very helpful to couples in that stage of life.

You could also check their local community learning.  Often they have cooking or photography classes that they might enjoy doing (I’d just check to make sure times work for them).

If you’re not sure they’d love a class Kiwi Crate also has some boxes for adults that involve crafting or stem type projects a lot of adults would enjoy (look at the Maker or Eureka crates).

Gifts for Couples who Have Everything

Museum membership for married couples

If they have a museum they love, grab them a membership so they can go frequently, and get extra perks.

National Park Annual Pass

Another idea is a national park pass. The price isn’t crazy, and it would encourage them to enjoy the great outdoors (just try to get it as close to Christmas as possible so they have the full year to use it).

Bed Jet for Couples

This one seems crazy, but is AMAZING {and pricey, so I know it’s not in everyone’s price range}.

The BedJet helps couples each have their own “zone” so no one has to feel like the temperature isn’t for them.

Inexpensive Christmas Gifts for Couples

Gift card for a treat for a married couple

If they like ice cream, even just a yummy treat at Trader Joe’s, a gift card of a small amount can give them a nice indulgence!

Offer to babysit for a couple

If they have kids, the offer to babysit can be HUGE.  No payment required, just some fun labor. 🙂

Offer to cook dinner & a movie for a couple

Give them a coupon where you bring over dinner and give them a redbox gift card or something.  That gives them a fun night with no effort on their part (and cheap for you)
