Let me level with you.
You think other moms have it together. They know where the papers for school are, and their kids put things away, their husband helps out and they wake up each day ready to conquer it.
And in reality, they don’t.
We are all just winging it. Trying our hardest to just do what we can.
Some days we can do a lot, and some days — we just can’t.
That is just the way life is.
No one lives in the Pottery Barn.
We live in homes full of love, cheerful laughter and kids not caring a whit if they leave 600 Shopkins out { or insert your child’s toy addiction here, could easily be crayons or the dreaded lego}.
I want my home just like that. Love trumps Pottery Barn any day of the week (well, at least most days of the week).
But, in order to stay sane, I have put into systems and plans to allow for easy cleaning, management as well as knowing where important things are at any time.
In 2011 we moved from an 1177 square foot home to this home just under 2400 square feet. I knew that my small house had driven me insane for quite some time, and I was SO excited to have a new home, new space and plans for systems that would help our family thrive.
And I have compiled all the research idea, smart ideas in a room by room guide to transforming your home into the space you’d hoped for. The realistic space you’d hoped for.
I have created the Organized Home for a family that loves each other, loves their home and is ready to make a change for the better.
I hope you’ll check it out. You’re ready for a change, I can feel it!
