I remember the first year after we had moved here. I’d go to the mailbox with glee from about Dec 5-25. SO excited to see faces I knew, faces I remembered, faces I loved. It was like love, stamped and sent in my mailbox. Pure joy. Joy that I REALLY needed that year.
I LOVE Christmas cards. I keep hearing how it’s a dying art and no one does them anymore.
If that’s true, those people are sad.
Because who doesn’t get love with a stamp on it?
The good people at Minted offered me to take a whirl on their site.
Oh my GOODNESS is it pretty!
Check out some of my favorites!
My adorable photos are by Denise Beatty if you’re in the VA area, check her out!
This one was Drew’s favorite. I couldn’t get over the lines on the top, messing with the text. Isn’t it fancy? The silver is foiled so it will shine. Just like me. 🙂
This just in — November 11-16 ONLY foil cards (all shiny, like the one below) are 20% off with coupon code FOIL — this actually includes all foil holiday cards, art, and gifts at Minted.com
This one’s super cute too. I like how the white isn’t all opaque, except in certain areas.
I LOVE this style of card — the cut, and the pretty red, but with the lines of the bridge, I felt like it was a no-go. 🙁
I thought maybe we’d just highlight the kids. They have plenty of cards that can have more than one photo.
I love the art deco feel of this! I feel all Great Gatsby…
Drew shot down Happy Holidays, but I loved the swirls of the design (big surprise, right?– see my header?) — and the heart after the name stole mine. In case you ever wondered — I design every ounce of this site. Design is one of my favorite things. 🙂
Isn’t this one cute!? I loved how different it looks. Very fun! I like!
My ❤️ hotels for your 2024 trip:
– Best Western Park Place — it’s the CLOSEST hotel, has a breakfast and if it’s available for your dates, BOOK IT. If not, check out the Tropicana.
– Cambria – this is my favorite one with a great price point for larger groups – has a water park and free breakfast (not walkable though) – but if you want a walkable suite check out Castle Inn
This one was kind of different. I love the mono-chromatic look. Very cool.
Love this one. So sweet and sassy. Kinda like the girls in this photo. (more sassy, less sweet).
More swirls. Are you seeing what catches my eye? 🙂
And, if you don’t want your photo the whole way you can do something like this:
Which one was YOUR favorite?

We were going to ‘simplify’ and not send cards this year but you’re right, Christmas cards are love with a stamp on it! Thanks for the encouraging reminder. Dang, all the minted cards are my favorite–it will be hard to choose! Merry Christmas to you and yours.

That is a very cute site. I am so terrible about sending Christmas cards out but this year I am going to do it. This site makes it look pretty easy to get a beautiful card to send to friends and family. Thank you for sharing.
