If you have a husband or male in your life that loves the great outdoors I have some great gift ideas for you.
I am NOT the outdoorsy type. I have camped, and I’m willing to get a bit dirty, but I’m not a lover of sleeping too far from a restroom or roughing it much at all. Many of the gifts my husband wants are pretty foreign to me. So, I had a little help from the mister to make this list. 🙂
My husband LOVES Top Gear. There was a great deal of mourning since Jeremy Clarkson had his little tantrum and now it’s no more, but that won’t stop my husband from loving them and waiting with baited breath for their new show on Amazon. Get your I Am the Stig T-shirt before they ruin those too. 🙂 Note: I actually DID get my husband one of these for our anniversary last year. I. AM. A. GENIUS. Also, don’t miss my car lovers gift guide!
What do you do when you take your dutch oven lid off to stir? Throw it in the dirt and enjoy that added “nuttiness” to your dinner? No! Get a lid stand. Super handy, and quite frankly anything that helps prevent burns (because you know you’ll try to hold the flaming hot thing) AND keeps dirt out of my food is as win in my book. 🙂
It’s a spoon, it’s a fork AND it’s a bottle opener. Seriously, just put one of these in your 72 hour kit and call it done. I don’t know why this gives me the giggles….
Ok, this is the first one I could get behind. This pot set actually collapses flat AND you can use it on a cook stove. If you click into it, you’ll see that the lid on the pot even has a strainer for pasta/etc. Seriously, that thing looks so cool — right? Maybe I should buy one for the house. 😉
Our bike seats tend to just get THRASHED in the hot sun of AZ. This one looks like an awesome replacement! It gets great reviews and isn’t too pricey (because we all know we’ll be buying a new one again in a few years even if it’s an expensive one!)
This bike repair set looks pretty handy. Easy to keep on your person when you’re biking in case you have a mishap. I wish someone would’ve given the Brady’s one of these, I felt like those poor boys spent half their lives repairing their bikes, or was that just me?
This final item is one I really enjoy as well. It makes for quick camp set-up and take down. I love sleeping on a cot, (well, more than laying on the ground) and I hate having to take them down when we’re done. Win-win.
Sometimes buying gifts for my husband can be REALLY confusing. A lot of them are things that don’t appeal to me at ALL so I hope this is helpful to you guys!
