This bin has turned into a bit of a stomach/misc. drug area. Mostly anything dealing with the abdomen. Here’s what I keep around as far as over the counter stomach medicines (we call them tummy drugs around these parts): *This post does have affiliate links, just in order to give you an idea of what some of the drugs are, as they aren’t ones that everyone keeps on hand. you can read my disclosure here.
1. Pepto Bismal. It’s just a great drug to have for any stomach issues.
2. Immodium — honestly, I’m not a huge fan of taking this unless I HAVE to. I think most stomach things just need to get out of your system and you move on. But, sometimes you have to move on faster then your stomach allows.
3. AZO — it’s a drug similar to Pyridium (but sold over the counter) that soothes your urinary tract if things are amiss downtown. It did help a bit when I had kidney stones, so I feel like it’s still there to ward off evil spirits.
4. Simethicone – helps get rid of any gas
5. Tums — basically the candy of pregnancy, right?
6. Probiotics — get that digestive track back on track. I think that’s it for me. Anything I’m missing that you call a tummy drugs necessity?
